I’ve been using Actual for a while now, probably close to a year. Before that I was on YNAB, which isn’t FOSS but does have a huge library of material for how to make your budget work for you instead of the other way around.

I got off YNAB after they kept raising their subscription fees for seemingly no reason. Actual is not nearly as feature-rich but you can’t really argue with the price.

This is the way it should be done. Instead of spending millions of dollars on a multi-year feasibility study and building hundreds of stores, just build a few and see how it goes.

I dislike Boeing as much as the next guy, but they only took over manufacturing in 1997 so this plane would have been built by McDonnell Douglas. I’m also pretty sure it’s not Boeing’s responsibility to maintain aircraft that are no longer in production.

My Linux Mint 22 iso currently has a ratio of 11908.34 over the last year and a bit.

It’s gotta be intentional. You and me might walk into a restaurant and make our own decision on what to order, but there must be some sort of market research that shows random ads and rotating items to be effective against a non-zero part of the population.

If you are choosing a DE to use out of the box with no customizing, you’re choosing plasma?

Gnome’s selling point isn’t its customizability, just as plasma’s selling point isn’t its OOTB experience.

Some people don’t want to have to spend hours customizing their entire DE to make it usable for them when GNOME works just fine out of the box.

The coolest thing when you start the DLC is that you realize that this whole thing has just been out there the entire time you’ve been playing and you didn’t know it. Then you finally get there and you can play the entire DLC while the rest of the game keeps going without you.
