I’m not “going after” anyone. Nor am I siding with any billionaire or CEO.
I’m specifically saying that these coders and other tech people who are deep in the know, continue to use AI regardless of the environmental and social impact; they’ve made their bed, and now they need to lie in it. I have no sympathy for them for saying “hey, I don’t like being surveilled at work, but it’s totally fine for others to do it.”
So I shouldn’t be rude to the person who’s using AI regardless of the fact they know what the impacts of using it are?
And I say “fuck em” until they actually change their stance and views. People might say “oh you need to be tolerant and patient and teach them the error of their ways,” but these are the people that know damn well the impact AI is having on literally everything but they’re still just going “whee! It makes my job easier for 5 minutes!”

I’m pretty sure there’s only one apartment building in my city that has any charging stations. There’s one gas station that I know of that’s replaced a couple pumps with charging stations too. Other than that, I think there might be just a few businesses that have charging stations, usually car dealerships.
The ad trucks that currently drive around are basically just moving billboards. I don’t think they even have lights, aside from a few light strips like RGB, those aren’t really that bright and more or less blend in with the rest of the neon on the Strip.
These are going to be at eye-level, and I can guarantee they’ll be almost as bright as those fuck-ass billboard screens we’re seeing pop up more and more. So just imagine having to be stuck next to that at a light, or waiting to cross or even just generally driving by.

And every couple weeks you’ll see social media posts about some new protest or something, and then it comes and goes without so much as a peep. People are too online, hoping too hard that things will change even though they’re not doing a goddamn thing to change anything.
