If they do this, they are going to be laughed out of the room. But then they will announce end of life for Win11 and everyone will stop asking questions and move anyway because “Linux scary”.
I hate reality.

“Struggling” implies the American Auto industry is at least trying to keep pace. But really, they aren’t trying at all. They are content to sit back thinking their current flock of geese will lay golden eggs forever even as more and more of those geese drop dead from old age.

Ahh, got it. You’re just a Sea-lioning concern troll. In that case you can kindly fuck right off.
EDIT: Also, I’m nobody’s alt account. Do consider the fact that more than one person may disagree with how you are going about this.

This does concern me frankly. Hopefully its all just his usual limpdick saber rattling. The problem is, if something like this does happen, at this point I don’t trust anybody to stop it. Democrats are too busy playing theater and bending the knee to their corporate overlords to oppose anything Trump does at this point past their usual finger wagging and “almost maybe going to send a sternly worded letter at some point” responses. And if the Supreme Court doesn’t give him the nod to do this he can just, you know, ignore them. Not like he’s faced consequences for that the past… ever.

Not at all dystopian. Orwell would approve!

Don’t worry, going by past history this will be available to any and…uhh, [checks notes] oh, uh-oh.

Whatever damn fool did this has just made the situation about a million times worse. I don’t give a shit who did this, it was the worst move you could have made at the worst time you could have made it.
And those of you jumping to immediate conspiracy theories need to stop and think about how much we tend to make fun of Republicans for doing literally the exact same thing. Us spending the next 3 days circlejerking each other off our own bullshit conspiracy theories isn’t gonna help the situation, its just gonna make us all look like a bunch of hypocrites. Wait a few days, get whatever info they are willing to give us, and then try to figure out what happened. If it still looks fake or like a false flag or whatever the fuck after that point, whatever. but for gods sake use some critical thinking to get there instead of jumping to conclusions with no info.
For what its worth, I am extremely anti-trump, I am scared shitless of what will happen should he win a second term. But dear god, please think about the way you all are acting, when you act like the same kind of psychopaths you claim to stand against it is not a good look. please consider that before you post.

The last part of your comment is a mystery to me. Where exactly did I imply the industry should be allowed to do whatever it wants?

The phase “My body my choice” springs to mind.
Is being fat unhealthy? yes. does it give you the right to decide what another person does with their body? no. “But the corporations are-” yes, I know. but it is entirely possible to campaign for better nutrition standards without treating fat people as subhuman.
I’m not telling anyone they have to force themselves to find fat people attractive or anything, but for gods sake they are still people. and what they do with their body is their business, not yours. That should not take away their right to be human.
Oh you know, Brownshirt stuff…
