The problem is there is more than one branch of it happening at once. We have this stuff but we also have the far right politics which is much more blatant. What most of those morons don’t understand is that their movement is driving the justification for these overbearing technology changes yet are the first ones to cry about it.

Not quite that extreme where I am but it is being thrust into any kind of strategy scenario with absolutely nothing to back it up. They are desperate to incorporate.

I tried gfx.webrender.layer-compositor on linux and it actually made things a lot worse for me. Youtube took longer to load and sometimes didn’t load correctly leading to the page having to be refreshed before it would respond.

This assumes that elections are fair and not manipulated, and that money doesn’t reach all sides, which isn’t a given at this point.

Seems a lot of people share this view that somehow he’s for the little guy, despite quite clearly being for the opposite. That’s not necessarily true, I dual boot and I’ve been using Linux for my main OS for about 15 years now. I rarely use mine but it is useful/needed occasionally.

You mention gender role stereotypes but then fall prey to one when you clearly think you should be served first because of your gender. If you don’t believe in equality and would rather stick to ancient and out of date traditions that’s fine but perhaps he is a bit more progressive and you are not well suited to each other.

It’s ok for a woman to pay, it’s ok for a woman to suggest a second venue, it’s ok for a woman to make the first move. It’s not 1950 any more.

Regardless, like others have mentioned, having this much to question after one date isn’t a good sign.
