He’s getting his tiny rotten mushroom dick half hard at the idea of another 9/11 happening between now and the midterms - he’d so very happily sacrifice 10s of thousands of Americans if it meant more power for himself…

That’s an insightful way of putting it, 10 points.

So… how does it work, when the world has a 50% unemployment rate?

Oh I’m shocked, shocked i tell you.

Have you ever seen a chart like this, that look at the 3 stages of matter, based on temperature and pressure?
The propensity for a crime to lend you arrested is proportional to its gravity, like higher temperature on the chart being proportional to water turning gaseous.
But then how wealthy you are is like pressure: it completely pushes the boiling (arresting) point away…
Idk if it’s a good analogy, I’m tired

I so very very very much hope the 300 fired journalists unite to form a journalist/newspaper co-op, co-owned by all of them, with a public good mandate, not owned by a billionaire…
They’d have something rare: Instant credibility, massive talent & experience and a ton of audience curiosity. They’d be able to create a truly independent organization, maybe even bring in Bill Owens who resigned from 60 minutes, and if they needed $ for co-op lawyers etc, I’m 100% certain that they’d crush a GoFundMe campaign target…
Fuck if someone know anyone who is in the fired 300, pleaaaase plead to them to consider this…

Wouldn’t be hard to believe that the kompromat was shared or uncovered by other nations too - too much (particularly in Trump first term) lead to indicate he was also used extensively by Russia, IMO. Or maybe it was a joined thing, or negotiated between the nations (Taiwan for Ukraine for Gaza, idk).
“Operation Xiao Kosher Pierogi is a go, I repeat…” sounds as plausible as anything else happened these days :-/

But Jonathan Ross should (I’m actually against the death penalty, even for those ice murderers, just venting)

I’m not saying I condone anything here but… seems that guy’s biggest mistake was going at it alone - i feel like asking the right folks he could have showed up with a whole contingent of “FBI” agents, convincing badges, a cover story, a black van and properly forged transfer documents! 😂

Making laws and passing judgement means nothing in a society where the enforcement of those laws and judgements is non-existent (at best).

Well… my 2 cents: it enormously matters because fascist regimes are way more fragile than they seem. Carney’s analogy of the ‘signs in the window’ was extremely appropriate (listen to his Davos speech if you haven’t), and even in the heart of Nazi Germany, proved massively impactful.
They won’t change everything by themselves, and there also needs to be a mobilisation in all layers of government, in the armed forces, police forces, etc… when you saw the National Guard joining the marches with high visibility jackets, recently, or the police kicking out Ice agents from a private property (hoping we can trust this one, weak source), it contributes to changing the dynamic…
Will it be enough or change fast enough idk, but its not useless IMO!

A really important watch these days… It’s like it’s made for now

So basically the opening scene of V for Vandetta, but the guy wasn’t V

So when do we flip Trump’s 51st state comment on its head, and start to organize “welcome to Canada” parties for states who want to become provinces?

And a bunch of em-dashes!

Idk - are they getting shittier, or is it getting easier to see?

To be clear, this is an issue with the cost, not with the degrees
