For now at least you don’t need accounts to subscribe (I use Focus Podcasts from f-droid to manage my podcasts) but I wish more podcasters would self host and have no doubt that eventually Podcasts will end up behind the paywalls.

TBH it’s been going downhill for the last couple years since they made groups pay a yearly (I think) fee. There used to be all kinds of fun free groups but it’s slowly becoming only sponsored groups or pay to attend meetups.
Is that site legit? It used to be https://thedise.me/instander but it’s been down for a while and thedise was only sharing very sporadic updates via telegram.
