Where are you seeing that it’s illegal? I own a pen plotter that can print things without tracking dots and that’s not illegal. I don’t see why this would be any different.

We’re talking about a government sponsored surveillance operation. I promise you they already know which license plates belong to you. I’m not sure I understand the risk here.

I help my community by donating clothes and food, and I donate heavily to progressive causes and campaigns. I really don’t think reading every little bit of information about how the world is falling apart really helps me, and I reject the idea that’s connected to making the world better. If I had more money and could act at a global scale, maybe. But I don’t.
This is all of tech right now.

Seems like we just need to circle back and then double click into this. I don’t want there to be any lack of alignment in this cross functional group.

Newsweek reached out to the White House by email to comment on this story outside of normal business hours.
“So uhhh, got any comment on the dick sucking thing?”

So if it doesn’t harm the cashiers, why would the parent business care? I think your approach only works because when done in mass, it prevents the business from functioning correctly and I think in that hypothetical scenario, you’re definitely hurting cashiers.

At first I thought it was a pretty glitter green and then I zoomed in. Oof

Exactly. This citizen’s identity is not a secret to the people in the convo. It’s a brave move and I respect the hell out of it.

Can we take a second and appreciate the person who got these messages and took them to the media? Putting myself in their shoes, I’d be scared shitless and you can easily see how it might make you a target. Good on you random citizen, I appreciate you.

Well I need the 24/7 phone and chat support. What if I have a question about my ability to tour a property at 2am?

It’s double illegal now. Everyone knows that’s when shit gets super serious.
I’m saying no. I could find nothing on the books that prohibits specific printer tech or mandates hidden tracing be added for it to be legal.
