10·14 days agoThere’s a real situation that fits this. A major racial incident in 1955 Mississippi. The killers were acquitted by an all white jury. The woman who had accused Emmett Till in the first place, on her death bed said she made some of the story up. She basically caused a lynching.
“Our current understanding” based on genetic testing. Something we didn’t have in the time of our grandparents. It hasn’t “always been this way.” Opinions about this topic have changed dramatically over time.
You’re giving a more ‘modern take’ which is irrelevant to what we’re talking about. We’re not talking about current race relations. This is a conversation about which country people’s grandparents are from.

Nah that’s still a mix, a mix of two things commonly referred to as ‘white’ currently. The standards of ‘which races are white’ has changed over the last hundred years.
Governments wanting an AI powered police state was always the obvious outcome. Does Plantir not have AI tools?

When has RFK ever suggested a vegan diet? The article referenced a “red meat, whole milk and animal fats” diet. So my mistake I should have said steak not chicken.
Who would have guessed you could cure mental illness back thousands of years by eating exclusively chicken.
Seems like you’re the one being negative.
They have blinders on when talking about politics, but most are normal and kind otherwise. For example (until 2026 and this dumb halftime show ‘controversy’) inviting people over for the Super Bowl would have been a good one. They invite people over holidays.

That YouTube video is wild. Approximately 20 seconds from being first notified that his time was up, officers had already come up to him. 20 seconds. He handed them his documents. He was done. There was no logical reason for the arrest.
52·2 months agoIt’s a little weird to see them celebrating the surveillance state that they are creating. A system like this is wide open for abuse.
715·2 months agoWhy are you complaining about Biden? Trump was extremely hostile to Iran during his whole first term. He withdrew from the nuclear deal, then vowed to not let Iran get nukes, and at one pointed threatened them with “obliteration like you’ve never seen before” and “YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE.”
So he’s back on the invasion of Iran like in his 1st term. Crazy to think this would have happened 4 years ago if he’d won.
It also suggests that by 2029 we could have “an incredibly luxurious universal basic income.” Which seems absurd here in 2026.
