Just don’t connect it to the internet. Smart TV is now dumb TV. It really is that simple.

IDK I don’t use Apple products out of principle, but given Apple’s history of creating bullshit restrictions for no reason, I wouldn’t be surprised.

A simpler method is to just add a little salt to the water, and they peel easily. Vinegar works too.
It also helps to leave a tiny bit of the egg above water. This will create an air pocket in the egg, and if you start peeling it from there, it will be a lot easier.

So long as you use a Gecko- (Firefox) or Chromium-based browser, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. There is no WebKit (Safari) support.

Similar thing happened where I live with porn. Recently passed a law requiring ID. Instead of complying, I just started going to different websites. No way am I giving up my identity to a sketchy porn site, no matter what the law says.

Old reddit is a lot more tolerable if you’re using it with RES. You probably already knew that, but I figure I’d say something just in case.

I’m convinced that ~30-35% of all living beings are complete and utter psychopaths, who are incapable of caring about anything that doesn’t affect them on a personal basis. Literally a third of all people going about their lives with no empathy whatsoever. I wonder what the evolutionary purpose for this is…

I used to prefer CRTs too… And then I got an OLED. Nothing else comes close, not even the best CRTs. Especially if it’s got quantum dots in combination with OLED.
Given that input lag was already solved five years ago, really the only advantage CRTs still have left is their ability to look great at non-native resolutions. But upscaling filters like HQX/xBR for retro games, and DLSS/FSR for modern titles, have all but completely eliminated that last remaining advantage. These filters are really good at upscaling lower resolution content to fit your display’s pixels. Hell, DLSS is so good that it looks better than native 4K.

Seriously, how hard is it to write a blanket, “No spyware allowed in electronics whatsoever” law and call it a day?

And this is why you don’t get invited to parties.

Yeah but it’s called Masking. You adapt to fit the situation. In this case, since we’re talking about a town in the US, it makes no sense to use celcius. When in Rome.
As someone with Autism, this is a skill you need to learn. Otherwise people just think you’re an asshole.

YouTube Music ReVanced is best, because it’s both free and ad-free.
Unfortunately you have to sacrifice on sound quality, because it’s YouTube. However the song selection can not be beat by any other platform.
Too* dumb.

I didn’t even know it relaunched. They should have advertised it better. I would have checked it out had I known it was coming back.

The nitrous oxide high lasts 60 seconds max; how are Uber drivers getting high on the stuff while driving unless they’re actively hitting the chargers while behind the wheel? Your comment makes no sense.

Mullvad is the only VPN I trust. They proved themselves when they were raided and the feds got nothing.

Mullvad FTW. They’ve already proven themselves when they were raided and the feds got nothing.

The only reason I can think of is for the bonus content. When you pirate, you generally just get the movie/show and nothing else. No behind the scenes extras, no deleted scenes, no director’s commentary, etc. Even Blu Ray discs are often lacking in this category. DVDs were peak for special features.
Not on my experience. I simply set my LG OLED to HDMI 1 and leave it there. I don’t own a Blu Ray player nor any game consoles, so one input for my PC is all I need. TV boots up like a monitor and immediately displays the desktop. I never see the smart crap ever.
If you have to for your particular model, you can always get a service remote and put the TV into Hotel Mode, then from that menu, disable the smart features completely, and program the TV to default to your input of choice every time you boot it up. Every TV in existence has Hotel Mode, and thus is capable of doing this.
