Target, Walmart, and Amazon have always engaged in practices that harm individuals of every color and creed. The fact that DEI has become the impetus for these boycotts is evidence of the extent to which republicans still control the narrative. Your guess is as good as mine; I couldn’t speculate on the thoughts of mass murderers. The cynic in me says that shootings no longer represent compelling content to the average consumer, so it doesn’t get pushed as hard.
