Removing all query parameters is not the solution. They can be used for tracking, but not necessarily.

Maybe they could put his name on the phenomenon. He does like his name on things. Trump lung?

AFAIK it’s also supposed to not play as nice with non chromium browsers, so there’s that.
Mind you this is from an article I skimmed some years ago, so do your own research on this one rather than believing some rando on the Internet.

I simply chose to read it as that, as my head was not up for dealing with the letter soup that was the name.

I chose to read it as JCLDS-PCB, which didn’t help.

In Norway you could make good money as an antenna port removal person, essentially filling it with solder or some such, and making paperwork confirming it had been done.
If you had that piece of paper you didn’t have to pay licensing fees, as it was tied to the antenna port. Funnily enough most everyone with a top box used the scart for television, so it didn’t really make a difference.

Oi! Do you have a license for that tv stick?
I once read that anything that separates you from the ground, e.g. chair, bed, shoes, is worth spending more money on. Sounds advice.

Is The Onion leaking again?

At least it’s not Utahnatians…

To add insult to injury I hope they make a what if exploring what it would take to fuck up so badly.

Cool, Epstein files when though?

Sorry, it wasn’t meant to be directed at you as if you held the opinion. I can see how it could be read like that.
It was meant as more of an apropos to your comment.

Personally I’ve always found it quite antisemitic to prescribe all people of the Jewish faith the opinions of the state of Israel, and in turn hold them accountable for the states actions.
When people say anti Zionism is equivalent antisemitism that’s what they are doing, and in turn removing all agency from people of the Jewish faith.
I have yet to ask people who make the argument about this though, but I assume it’d be a shitstorm.
When last I changed jobs (going from full time in house software developer to a consultant working for a firm), and every time I’ve changed assignments since (same firm, most times same client but different teams), I’ve been absolutely knackered. It can even happen once you’re back from a particularly long vacation.
Sometimes for a week, sometimes for up to a month.
It does pass though. You’ll find you have more energy as you get settled. Remember, new people to relate to, new things to do (even if it is similar tasks as previously) does take up a lot of mental energy even if you don’t feel like it does.
Cut yourself some slack, give your mind and body time to adjust for a few weeks. Remember to eat and drink right, and afford yourself some extra down time. In my experience you’ll be acclimatised soon enough.
Congrats on your new job!
Waiting does indeed an effort, however, has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

The picture of a dystopian future where feudal oligarchs are shooting down each others low orbit internet satellites in the furious competition for best coverage popped into my head.
Who are we casting as the satellite retrieval specialist with a penchant for bonsai trees living in an off grid log cabin?

If you’re logged into a social media account and encounter a “share on said social media” button, this is dutifully logged and provides metrics of the types of groups encountering said button.
It’s not for sharing, it’s for metrics about what kind of people view the site/article/top ten list/hardcore porn. Targeted advertisement is cash money.

Well, their way of counting is all messed up, and so is their language, so it will probably require slot of patience. That or a lot of schnapps.

Using Firefox, you can simply “copy clean link” like mentioned here.
Otherwise, learn about query strings, and make an educated guess.
As for apps on various app stores for cleaning links, I have a general aversion to installing random apps, so I can’t help or recommend anything.
If you want to stop them from tracking you, nothing you do to the link will stop them. This can only prevent sites from seeing who you share their link with. Notice I say can, not will. Even my sleep deprived mind can think of a few different ways to write this functionality without using query strings in an afternoon or less.
