You must live in a very walkable city then. I find Denver to be excellent but I spent a lot of time in Ohio before Denver and those cities suck for walkablity and bike ability

Yeah, nearest light rail station is 2 miles away from me and I live in the city. I can ride my bike around town for the most part, beating people driving if we start at the same start and going to the same destination. I do ride mostly in late spring -early fall. Snow and ice make it hard for my gravel bike to get around. But getting from the south side of town to the north side kind of is a bear riding. Lot of bus stops in my area though……
He got any burritos in that truck?

Or the Google tax of a few hundred bucks for the OS. Which could happen. Google is worse than Micro$uck at this point and I say this as someone who returned their OEM license before. See Revolution OS https://youtu.be/k0RYQVkQmWU
Even Linux is now weaponized for profits over anything else…:.::.
So argument invalid

Easiest thing I can think of off the top of my head is dealing with pivot tables. UI is terrible in OpenOffice also integrations with PowerBI does not exist along with XLookup not existing last I checked

I really like LibreOffice but I still need Excel. It’s a good 20 years ahead of the OSS software. It works find if your doing light work though
Not quite but a possibility answer.
Lot of software gets embedded tracking software where it does a few things to see if it’s tampered with and reports back along with a lot of details. It’s kind of sweet how you can dig in and see where exactly where that computer lives and how it can triangulate exactly where it is even over a VPN.
I happened to work with this software at one point…… lot of companies actually don’t unless there is a business using the software or it’s super expensive think 10k+ per seat or you see a hot spot. Not worth the effort.
Other side of the coin I was a Desktop Eng many moons ago. We would do reporting on all of the systems in SCCM and what’s installed on them and compare to a know good list of applications every so often to minimize legal risk to the business.
