How do you like Jellyfin compared to Plex and why haven’t you transitioned? I’m looking to ditch Plex for Jellyfin, but haven’t gotten around trying Jellyfin yet. The family will use it, so I’m hoping the usability is good enough.

Nothing will change for the positive, but it will be a cathartic interlude in this march to hell.

I’m not getting how this is anti-woke. Wasn’t it first discovered in monkeys? What does mpox mean and why is that better? Can someone explain?

Let’s not try to normalize cripplingly low wages and justify having a underclass that has no choice but to try to subsist on them.
These big ag conglomerates are posting record profits while underpaying the workers. Americans should be able to work these jobs and our society shouldn’t require this sort of exploitation to function.

No kidding. That’s the actual response, by the way. I thought the OP was joking.

We can do injection molding in the US, and probably for nearly the same price (as paid by the customer). The reason things like this are produced overseas is to maximize profit collected by the companies, and secondarily to skirt environmental laws (for even higher profits).
The tariffs are stupid, but the reason for so much of the current shit situation is naked greed and short-sighted profit chasing.

During the court proceedings, the defense attorney had to explicitly ask him out for her.

Unfortunately, these work best in desert and mountain regions where water scarcity is becoming a bigger concern.

I hate getting fixated on looks, but geez man.

Any pilot nerds out there? Is this a normal situation to use “mayday” for? I know that plane can fly with one engine (though not sure if that’s the case during ascent at only 5000 ft), but it seems like ATC would give them priority as soon as they asked for it.
I sort of thought mayday was only for extremely dire circumstances.

Whitman’s is such a sad story. I wonder if this will turn out to be similarly awful.

Is that just a fusor? Because it looks a lot like the one in my garage, but shinier.

Global like if the US experiences staggering water shortages, the rest of the world is going to get pulled into the excitement.

Hard evidence existing may be met with his administration releasing more provably false videos, like the one of Obama being arrested. He’ll then claim that the evidence was manufactured.

I agree that this could be helpful for finally getting to that natural language programming paradigm that people have been hoping for. But there’s going to have to be something capable of logically implementing the low level code and that has to be more than just a statistical model of how people write code, as trained on a big collection of random repositories. (I’m open to being proved wrong about that!)
The 90% accuracy could just arise from the fact that the tests are against trivial or commonly solved tasks, so that the exact solutions to them exist in the training set. Anything novel will exist outside the training set and outside of the model.

Performing procedural tasks using a statistical model of our language will never be reliable. There’s a reason why we use logical and proscriptive syntax when we want deterministic outcomes.

Or, more accurately, this is what the establishment Democrats were willing to accept to avoid having to stop supporting genocide or to embrace popular progressive policies.
Of course they won’t. Prices never go back down. We’re still paying extra for the ongoing COVID supply chain troubles.
