Why would trump care about a coalition to reopen the strait, if oil prices are going to come “tumbling down” regardless? What an idiot.

I don’t think they give a shit about bots, as it inflates their traffic numbers and gives the illusion of a more robust user base. This is about gathering your data. They want to know who you are for marketing and other purposes.
I can’t see this move by Google as anything but a power grab to reduce competition. If someone wants to bear the “risk” of installing software that hasn’t been vetted by Google, why does Google insist on being a nanny that makes it more difficult? Money, that’s why. Google is acting to try to enforce its monopoly over android apps. GrapheneOS, which is more secure than android, doesn’t make a fuss over this issue. No, this is only an issue with the company that hoovers up all your data in breach of your privacy.

A bit over a year ago, when I was still on reddit, I commented in r/gold, which is full of conservatives, noting that Trump would likely start a war. Some MAGA chud took offense, telling me that Trump was “a man of peace.” I lol’d and moved on. I’d like to think he’s reconsidering his views, but the more likely scenario is that he invented some reason to believe that Trump had no choice, and war with Iran is a good thing.

GrapheneOS only runs on Pixel phones, with the Pixel 6 being the oldest Pixel phone supported, so you must be mistaken and tried an alternative OS. FWIW, GrapheneOS is very easy to install.

GrapheneOS is the way to go. It’s hardware limited to Google Pixel phones, but it is the most secure, privacy-oriented OS available to consumers. Yes, you’re using google hardware, but Graphene sandboxes all apps, de-googles the experience by default, and even if you choose to use some google apps it sandboxes them to limit the data they can pull from you.

So, I’ve been learning swing dancing over the last few months, and as a consequence, I’m meeting a lot of new people. There is a girl I had run into and danced with a couple of times at different events, but don’t know her name. She dances well, but often “takes a beat” for herself, throwing in her own footwork, which is fine, even if it is a bit awkward and causes me as lead to have to adapt. I am just there to have fun, and I want my partners to have fun as well. Anyhow, I ran into her at a dance the other day and got her out on the floor. As we’re dancing, I noticed that she never makes eye contact with me, and it occurred to me that this girl might be on the autism spectrum. Intrigued, I start wondering if I can get her to make eye contact, and notice that she is studiously avoiding looking at me when I am looking at her. Throughout the song, our eyes were in a game of pursuit and evasion. As the song is winding up, I pull her into a cuddle for a side-lean dip finale, and I put my face about 6 inches or so from hers. There was no avoiding my gaze, and we lock eyes with full-frontal contact. There was a microsecond of tension, and then we burst out laughing as the song ended. It made my day and I know it made hers.

The fact that this dipshit is announcing that he’s specifically targeting democratic states gives anyone targeted in those states a reasonable argument the prosecutions are politically motivated and in violation of the equal protection clause of the Constitution. Now, that doesn’t mean that the targeted harassment won’t be a nightmare for those targeted, but if he kept his stupid mouth shut he’d be more effective with his illegal prosecutions.
