Can you honestly say, that if you were in really need of a car and there would be opportunity to buy a yaris with good price and it would be good fit to your needs at the moment, you would pass it just because some add you saw at some point?

Was it so effective you repeat the name of the product years later in some random discussion on the internet?

I think the adds worked pretty much as intented.

Sometimes even if you buy from different place the owner of the companies are the same. Like if you ask offers for new windows in norther europe the three biggest companies are owned by same company.

I bet i have heard the same add, even living in Finland. I live close enough to border so i get good mix of Finish, Swedish and Norwegian adds. And every single one of those are way louder than the podcast is.

I love hating epic just as much as anybody else, but those exclusivity deals are not necessary just bribing the devs.

The first Hades game would have been much smaller in scope and features, without epic funding them and helping them implementing something like EOS, the game would be definedly worse than it is.

Remedy has also stated they could not make Alan Wake 2 without Epics funding. People often say the Epic exclusivity ruined its salea, but realistically without it there would not be a game.

But even so, i think them suing Steam is a asshole move.

Science wont kill, the application does. Yelling about NASA being military monster institution is directing your energy to the wrong place. Be angry towards pentagon or to american goverment. People downvote you, but if i were hiring for a job with lots of wanting candidates and where one mistake has possibility of costing billions of dollars, i would too choose somebody who would know enough to recognize one of the more prevailing person on the field, or who would atleast have sense to look them up before starting dropping f bombs.

So basically people are more or less genetically indigenous, but culturally dont consider themself as one. This makes my head hurt, because im not qualified enough to decite which matter more, the genetics or how they percive them selfs. In any way its clear that colonism had huge effect.

Latina america has a heavy influence by Spain, Portuquese and France colonist. So similary like north america, while there are indigenous people, lots of them are decendents of colonizers, so you cant just compare Latinos to Native Americans.
