  • I used to run a small electronics repair business and you are 1 billion percent correct. Slowly watching things over the years become unrepairable was just such an obvious business decision for profit over customer satisfaction. There is absolutely no reason to make those changes unless you have a profit driven motive. So so so many electronics used to be like the fairphone your mom has. Pop it open, take out what’s broke, replace it with some OEM or 3rd party part you bought for like 2 dollars and you’re all set. It’s so frustrating nowadays with how purposefully difficult manufacturers make any repairability. Can’t even change a damn battery in your phone now! lol

  • I’m trying really hard to see how this could be anything else than a straight up execution. It’s hard to see any way that dude could be threatening the life of anyone here. He’s shot on his knees with his hands down looking away from the shooter (granted the footage we have here it’s kind of hard to tell just cause there’s so many people). There’s footage of him talking to the agents before just holding his phone to record and then they start shoving him. There’s also 8 bajillion agents beating the shit out of him right before. The woman’s footage from the other side of this will show a ton if she was recording.

Anyways, I look forward to hearing how this heroic agent saved the lives of all his fellow warriors during this altercation. Hope the agent recovers from the assault safely and quickly in the hospital…

Edit: few things, someone pointed out the agent in the grey coat disarms the victim and runs away with his weapon before he’s killed which I did not see at first.

Also, second lady’s footage is now out and it doesn’t show anything different than a bunch of thugs beating the shit out of this guy and then killing him.

  • I mean okay but jumping down that person’s throat because you neglected to mention they were required to wear body cams by law but are instead just choosing not to is a bit much lol. I was thinking the exact same thing after reading your initial comment. They are required to wear them during these operations (especially after Chicago). I have no idea whether or not they are but they are supposed to.

In either case I think it’s pretty obvious the public won’t see any footage of body cams any time soon

  • What is giving you the idea that a pardon automatically admits guilt? I’ve seen this so many times and it makes absolutely no sense. There’s one court case from the 20’s in which the court suggested that accepting a pardon “may imply guilt.” And there’s like 528 court cases saying the opposite. There’s also nothing in the verbage of a pardon that states that. It simply removes any legal consequences from relevant acts. I’m not sure why so many people insist that if you accept any type of pardon for any reason, you are confessing to have perpetuated whatever you are accused of. It makes absolutely no sense. You could be guilty as hell. Or you could have been on the other side of the planet and accused of something random. I’m either case, all a pardon does is just get you out of trouble.

This isn’t to say that I think Giuliani is innocent or anything. He’s a complete and utter dirt bag. But of all things, him merely accepting a pardon is not the smoking gun a lot of people seem to think it is.
