I’m confused the article says the kid pointed the gun at the mother and pulled the trigger. What part of that means he shot himself?

Pretty cool stuff hoesntly, and thanks for all the explanations. I have a question how did you deal with device trees, was that public available or did you make your own?
Only thing missing is NFC. If it had it I would get it in a heart beat

But I imagine they have been doing this even before they got bought by them

I don’t think its completely unnecessary, it helps save some time
No mention of Firewatch so I’ll be the first to say it, it caught me off gaurd how good it was.
Only thing to add to what has already been said: Office related stuff will be your biggest issue. Personally I suffer a lot with the web version of the Office apps, so I recommend dual boot or VM for when using office.

I would only be swapping once and then having the windows SSD in the USB C hub. Would you still recommend that I install the SSD straight away in the laptop and set it up from there?
They even state it them selves in the article, so it is not like they are trying to hide this. Also they say that this is not the end all be all of reparability, which IMO should merit not then getting a 10/10 but idk what their metrics are.
