If Chromium is the best browser for android, why are you calling IronFox “the privacy king”?

I’d argue chromium based browsers are significantly better than gecko simply for security. Obviously Chrome is bad, but Vanadium and other such browsers are significantly better than any firefox remixes.
As for my claim that you’re a bot, see my earlier reply, and you’re brand new.
I dunno, maybe you’re a person, but the way your post is written, and the theme of the screenshot, screams AI.
Happy cake day , bot (or spammer) 😃
After trying to find some examples, I’ve determined that my previous statement is incorrect. It seems the site has expanded by a considerable amount, and the complaints I had (e.g. Tor was ranked something like C while Google was ranked B) no longer apply.
Regardless, I think having someone else summarize a legally binding contract is still a horrible idea in so many ways.

Because that’s even worse than just adding age verification.
My previous statement is outdated (see replies). I still think TLDRs are inherently wrong, but ToS;DR seems to have improved significantly.
The website is extremely opinionated IMO, which just goes to show how important it is to read the ToS and not a TLDR.

Remove the period at the end of my link, most clients should automatically, but in hindsight not the best place to punctuate anyways.
Personally, no I have not tested it, however it should be the same as a regular debit card, which I know through testing that they accept, and a quick internet forum search says they do accept Visa gift cards.
If you generate a brand new wallet, convert your monero to bitcoin, and then pay Proton, there’s very little to trace back to you.

YSK, it’s not open source. It’s not even source available for that matter. They’ve promised to go open source for a while now, but not much progress has been made.

Sorry to reply to a two week old comment, this is their supported payments page: https://proton.me/support/payment-options.
You can use a prepaid visa to buy account credits, or proton gift cards. They don’t support monero, which is really annoying, but it’s not the biggest hassle to convert from monero to bitcoin for a purchase.

Most open source projects just hit everything with a PoW captcha instead of trying to guess if a user is real or not, so trying to spoof enough to look like a real user won’t change all that much anymore.

Their transparency report says otherwise…

You’re not understanding. They can order whenever.

It doesn’t matter if they keep it anyways. Always assume anything you put on someone else’s servers is there forever.

Owned by Kape technologies, and uses Google analytics. Big nope. Any VPN service worth its money support anon payments (including gift cards) anyways.

Mailbox.org doesn’t have the option for anonymous payments beyond payments in cash, which was the reason for the article in the first place.

Hopefully people like you will be able to nip this in the bud before yet another joke of a controversy starts…
The one built into the OS. You shouldn’t trust another app with full photo access.
Ok, I see you are in fact not a bot. My mistake. In future I’ll avoid jumping to such sudden conclusions. I hope you enjoy your stay on Lemmy!
As for the AI image… Yeah, you should probably avoid those here. Some communities are more welcoming than others, but generally AI is quite disliked in the privacy community. It also makes you look very bot-like when you use one as your first ever post.
