Peppermint , based on debian (also a devuan flavor). “Everything you need and nothing you don’t”

Use shit banking apps on GOS from 6 of them from 3 countries , no issus what so ever. Apple has privacy issues as well. You can also use other roms with microG and aurorastore

Lots of suggestions here. Here is mine peppermint OS. Simple and doesnt brake (debian based)

I always had a fat32 partion available for sharing stuff when i did dualbooting. Just for saving some stuff, but limited to 4 gb files then. Ntfs works as well so either partion or separate drive

I hope my 2023 car only have it so I can get rid of the spyware in my car. In this case obsolescence feels fine

If you use android, GOS or not, you are using chromium webview anyhow. So using a Firefox browser is just adding on. There is no way around that issue until a proper non chromium WebView is available (gecko is not). But before that happens we will more likely have decent linuxphones instead of android. Vanadium is way more secure than any other browser , only competition would be bromite, also chromium based. Firefox on mobile is light-years behind vanadium security wise, no excuse for not sandboxing. https://grapheneos.org/usage#web-browsing

Yea sticking with firefox , but with arkenfox hardening… bugfixes are more important than fear of some wordings , at least for now. Vanadium in GOS on the phone.

Yea try to uninstall the chrome WebView :) . You are using Firefox and chrome. Firefox do have a close connection to Google also telemetry. https://itsfoss.com/librewolf-vs-firefox/

Yea problem is however that using Firefox on Android is using Firefox and chromium WebView. Så twice the problems. Sticking to vanadium. No issues at all as far as I noticed regarding adblocking. Next phone will hopefully be a Linux one. If there ever is such a thing that works and matches mid-top level androids. Then it will be a Firefox based one (not the standard one as it is riddle with Google stuff)

Ublocks lists are available as hostlists as well. Yea Firefox for the PC , vanadium (chromium) for the phone. No problem running all of it as well , if you have a little bit of power to spare. Haven’t had any issues on adguard DNS plus proton adblock

Oh I run DNS adblocking on the router and protons adblocking on the VPN . That seem to cover everything. I use ublock on the job PC though.

I just use DNS or VPN for adblocking , no need for browser addons
Check out the fork on fdroid
