I’ve also used duck.com’s free email masks with great success
Not quite what OP is talking about but useful in most cases

Yeah this is it. I like snaps just fine but I also like Flatpaks and well, everyone else is using Flatpaks.

A VPN actually hides your IP from the webpage.
Hah! I definitely didn’t mean any shade at Zorin! I used it for a while too. I ultimately moved to Fedora Kinoite and now Bazzite for the exact reasons you described, the immutability makes it even harder to break than Zorin.
It’s great we have so many good options these days.

On one hand I think that Linux would benefit from KDE being better than windows and GNOME being better than MacOS and that we shouldn’t get distracted by new shiny toys like Cinnamon and Cosmic.
…and yet on the other hand… they are pretty cool…

The job apocalypse is absolutely not something to forget.
Honestly wondering… why not? So far there is no evidence that an LLM can replace a worker of any kind, and all layoffs attributed to “AI” have not proven to be anything other than typical layoffs attributed to corporate greed.

Clever! The rare actually useful LLM!

Out of the box support it’s going to be Bazzite or CachyOS. Both great options but I lean Bazzite because of it’s immutability.

“The Jury voted against Jones, therefore it means he gets to keep InfoWars and also not pay them.” is wild.

That’s honestly beside the point. This case wasn’t about his “grift” it was about harassment of the Sandy Hook families, who have not seen a penny from Jones yet, despite winning the case two years ago. The judge tried to come up with convoluted logic to make sure Jones retains control of IW despite, again, losing the case the judge presided over. It’s insanity.

Rumble, where he’s still using the InfoWars branding:

It’s absolutely crazy the gymnastics the judicial system is making to keep Jones on the air and prevent the families of the Sandy Hook victims from seeing restitution.
This shutdown was Jones’s decision not the courts or The Onion:
A judge granted Jones’ request to block the sale, arguing that another offer by a company that happened to operate Jones’ online supplements store had been higher. But in April, there seemed to be a workaround — Jones’ estate had run out of money and instead of buying it in an auction, The Onion could just pay rent in a licensing deal. On Wednesday, a Texas appeals court stopped the transfer again, temporarily blocking the asset handover.
And so it seems Jones, unable to pay the rent, left on his own accord.

Mine is running Debian and to my memory has never crashed or required me to restore a backup once in several years.

Targeted harassment campaign
Finally, we’ve invented a machine that saves mankind from the drudgery of getting to know other people!
