Epigenetics. But that’s not as cool as whatever Assassin’s Creed is.

CISA actually monitored Internet traffic and would contact government entities (local, schools, universities, etc) when they were being attacked. I went to a talk once where they said they usually had response times in minutes, and it would take longer to figure out who they needed to alert and convince them that it was real. Now that CISA is gutted I would expect more and worse breaches in the future.

It’s not cheaper to execute people with our current legal framework. After we get 30,000 people in Guantanamo bay and illegal immigration has become a crime punishable by death, things could change.

Use this one weird trick to hear a rendition of paw patrol sung as loud as they can at 4:30 am.

Birds dying to HPAI are very easy to catch too, so even the Garfield’s out there can be exposed. I had a red tailed hawk crash out in my backyard and it was dead 24 hours later. I put it into a box (after it crashed and didn’t move for 20 mins) but no rehab would take it, because there is nothing that can be done to help them.

There are cats and European starlings everywhere, extra cats will only hurt the situation. It would be basically impossible to remove starlings at a neighborhood level. Just plant more wild flowers and put up nest boxes starlings can’t use, or put up bird feeders if you really want to see other birds.

If you are renting and have no practical skills to actually fix this, just leave it alone. You are likely to fuck up the floor worse trying to do these home remedies.

Ya, the incredibly wealthy used to build public infrastructure because they were taxed at like 90% and they thought they might as well make what they want and have it be a donation than let the gov take the money. Now they don’t build anything AND are taxes lower than everyone else.

Nice. I just fixed my Samsung dryer. The drum was binding or something, about 50% of the time it would make a buzzing noise when started and it wouldn’t spin. One of the wheels inside was hard to turn when I took it apart. Replaced 2 wheels, belt, tension arm thing, and motor. Was like $80 in total. I did that yesterday and so far so good. I’ve had the set for about 10 years too so I’ll remember this if the washer stops working.

They consented when they tried to raid me.

It feels like MTG has a crossover/cash grab every other month. It’s just too much.
Where are these prices from? A quarter pounder meal is under $10 where I am.

I loved Silo S1.
You can save wherever you want but ya, it is a game you would want to play consistently. Like taking a month break would be tough. But that’s how most 1 player story games are, to me at least.
I also recommend Baldurs Gate 3 and Elden Ring. Baldurs Gate has one more big patch in the next month or two so I would wait until then to play it. I’m kind of waiting for that patch to drop to start another run through. Protip: pick the Dark Urge backstory.

What? Fish is an animal?? /s
This is crazy too, because as a falconer RFK should be extremely familiar with bird flu. We’ve been dealing with it for years and there’s a story of someone’s falcon or hawk dying from it semi-often. If he’s part of a club he’ll get HPAI reports even. I went to the national meet a few weeks ago and they separate birds that chase ducks and birds that don’t (quarantine zones).
Although I guess it’s possible to know something exists and deny that it has a solution. So dumb.

Don’t worry, Elon Musk has a much better idea for a postal vehicle. All he needs is 10 years and 1 trillion dollars and he’ll be ready with the prototype.

gets a really rare RPG item
Oh wow, I better save this for something important
game ends
Oh no
People wanting instant gratification is part of the reason we’re in this mess. There is not going to be one singular event that fixes everything. Booker stood up there and said that not everyone is going to just roll over and take it. And that does mean something in the long run.
