It’s not bad but they are usually useless unless you have high quality music, even then you need some quality headphones or IEMs to make proper use of it. I’m not against it but software usually sucks and updates are really rare, until then I’m not sure I can buy another one.

Phones are already banned during lessons and if students don’t behave they get taken, theoretically at least practically it’s a hassle and a pain in the ass and teachers don’t want to be known as the mean one. Also phones are used in classes for interactive lessons, quizzes and sharing materials, will they return to paper? Which probably means they’ll need to buy more supplies and printers, which I hardly see viable with the current schools funds.

I’m not saying it’s a bad thing but it’s like keeping an eye on your alcoholic friend for 6 hours then just leaving and letting him help himself on the drinks cabinet. Also it’s not like this problem is only affecting kids, adults are affected as well.
