Also sometimes with a wireless issue there’s an easy workaround.
The ancient Broadcom WiFi module is the most problematic aspect of my 2012 MacBook Pro, but I got a fully Linux compatible tp-link USB wifi adapter for about £10.

I wrote that it was people who sneeze “super loudly” that seem to be doing it for attention, not just anyone who makes any vocalisation at all.
Some people feel the need to turn every sneeze up to 11. Saying like a cartoon character is a good way of putting it.
You’re totally normal and in fact it’s the people who are, consciously or unconsciously, choosing to vocalise the “ah-choo!” that are the weird ones, at least in my book.
It actually really bugs me when people sneeze super loudly, I swear some people just do it for attention.

Oh wow, that must have been amazing. I only saw it when the BBC broadcast it. But I don’t think I’ve ever been so moved by a science documentary.

All three are very good, very moving documentaries.

I wanted to give OpenSuse Tumbleweed a go yesterday, but the live USB got stuck at “Loading basic drivers” so I couldn’t even get to being able to install it.

I guess nothing’s changed then haha. I have a 2015 LCD Bravia. No longer my main TV, but it’s been awesome.
But the delay between turning it on and being able to switch inputs… Jesus.

My 2012 MacBook Pro has exactly the opposite behaviour on a clean install across multiple distros. The brightness keys do nothing until after a suspend, then work fine until the next reboot. Never found a fix.
Yeah, I was a huge fan of that person going to that length, and saying they’d argued with their girlfriend about it, haha
Confusingly both. The name is from the red panda, but the icon is absolutely a fox!
This article immediately had me searching in confusion over whether the logo is a fox or meant to be a panda! What is your logo? Fox or red panda?

No, I was still being cheaper with phones at that stage.
I remember my friend getting an N95 and how that was a big deal back then haha.
After looking through an extremely long list of Nokia phones on Wikipedia, it might have been a 6120 classic.
The WiFi still works on EndeavourOS on my 2012 MBP but even then I couldn’t use WPA 3 on my router. I could tell the writing’s on the wall for that chip so I got a tp-link USB WiFi adapter that’s recognised straight away without any tinkering.
I get to use modern secure protocols and feel confident nothing will mess up because I haven’t had to tinker or try anything to have it working.
