Amongst stated reasons, “signing up” is more difficult here. Its not as straightforward a process and content isn’t as spoon fed to you as other platforms. The tech literacy needed to get here isn’t high, but as I learned the average tech literacy is abysmal.
About 10ish years ago when I was 14, I helped some people print something. They tried printing something from a computer plugged into the printer, an error popped up saying “printer not connected”. I thought, thr printer must be, yknow disconnected. Some 6 people had gatherd trying to troubleshoot this but were stumped. I pointed out the error message that kept coming up, didn’t click. I followed the cables from the pc to the printer, it was disconnected, I plugged it in and reported back. They where stumped on how I possibly knew what was wrong or how to fix it.
I am not good with technology, but im good enough to know im not good with technology. I have found most people, even those younger or same age tend to not be tech literate.
Finding the application and filling it out for any random federated instance may seem like nothing but it requires an ammount of literacy many Americans dont have.
Yeah, I think objectively the “A.I.'s” are kind of neat, like those old desktop pal cats kinda of neat, cost almost nothing to run. But A.I. costs such an extreme ammount of resources to run enitre cities could be run in its deficits alone. We do not have the energy, water, or computers to run it, but something is bankrolling it.

Thats a really good idea, easy to clean and easy to seal so nothing falls out. Thank you

2 problems with a mixing bowl, its not as easy and its more work to clean. These where a go to for me for quick easy, and cleanup meals for the family.
the bag had little chance for mess, the bowl is more cleanup and higher chance for mess, maybe its not a “huge” thing but its not nothing and breaks the convenience of them.
Put the porkchops or chicken [$5/lbs] in the bag with the seasoning crumbs [$1] shake, put in air fryer, microwave a some veggies[$1.25] serve on paper plates and I had a low cost, quick, no clean up meal for my family.
Having to use something else adds cost, in money, time or energy, all of which I have nowhere enough of

See, I could see this a ploy agianst the U.S.A. but also I could 1000% see the U.S. doing a false flag op like this…it wouldn’t nearly be the first time.
We’ll have to wait a little bit and see if it becomes clear whos ploy this. Leaning towards a unhinged DEA op.
The post I was on 5 seconds ago was about imugur and how people where confused when they added posts and comments to the image hosting site. Everyone wants a poece of the social media pie…but we need the infrastructure, the websites that host stuff and do it free and efficiently.

This morning I was just talking with someone how literally nothing has changed from the japense “internment” camps and whats happening now. No clearer sign these are more illegal racist concentration camps

iirc there has been precedent set for stand your ground laws even if they where police, if they did not reasonably defend yourself. If they dont provide a warrant, stand your ground.
Yeah, but kind of ruins the joke of not filing taxes. Also, not part of it but just for the fact 1/3 of my money comes from federal taxes (VA survivors grant) funny enough I think I actually pay less then what I receive, yay, thank you U.S. army for leeching the soul of my father and breaking my mom beyond repair.
Yup, for now…im sure they’ll find a way to lower that bar.
Jokes on you, I dont pay taxes (Laughs in not making enough money to be taxed)

No, no, antisemitism isn’t about hating jews its about hating zionist. The military industrial complex tells me so. /sarcasm/
Though thats how alot of people treat it…

…and the U.S. treasury will pay for thier deployment like they are supposed to and not leave units holding the bag…right?

No, these aren’t U.S. army troops, they are Californa Army National Gaurd not United States Army. They are California’s troops, not the U.S.'s the controversy in part was because its a deastic move for the federal government to yoink a states troops and the current situation nowhere near truly qualified.

One of the problems is many of our shipbuilding ports are shuttered, right, it’s not as much a matter of competition, but they just dont make ships? Putting fines, not to the registered owner, or port of origin but orgin of manufacture for a ship? Seems an absolute nightmare to implement, without alot of use. Where would the money go? Obviously it wouldn’t be used to reopen and run U.S. shipbuilders, so it’s just a money grab for trump to embezzle more money or to piss off more people for no good reason.

And I’m still running into people everyday that says the U.S.A. is th greatest country in the world by a longshot, they think im crazy that I think they’re crazy.
and not me getting nervous that DEI is still an important part of our curriculum where I work (A school) and wonder if some trump gestopo is gonna come knocking.

Each person has thier own opinion. I have used IE, edge, before it went chromium and have used chrome. They work, and if you get into the ecosystem they work really well, but if you don’t want to be in the ecosystem or try to stop some it, I ran into problems.
When I just accepted all google ecosystem products, chrome worked great, when I needed to use alternate google accounts for school I ran into issues. So I moved to edge and it worked fine, except for with google I ran into issues, then it became chromium.
Then ads, and popups being an ad company, google doesn’t like supporting ad or content blockers, which makes sense but ublock has been so great at blocking unwanted popups and ads and as far as I am aware it doesn’t wirk as well on chromium based browsers, or at all.
So agian Chromium is a solid system and if you don’t care to change it it can work grest for you, but I found trying to change it to suit my needs as been problematic, in ways firefox or some fork of it hasn’t been.
If you are happy with Chrome or Edge or whatnot, great, there isn’t a problem but I want other options, I want more options about how it works, how it runs on my system and what data it collects or shows, things chromium doesn’t support.

Ive seen a few foss options but they generally lack certain features alot of people have gotten used to either because they cant implement them or it was committed for privacy/resource reasons.
So it becomes a balance of features vs privacy and right now fire fox has been a good enough balance there hasn’t been enough backing for a “good” feature rich foss that less computer adept users can easily install and migrate to.
Same thing happen with unlisted FOBs in Afghanistan and the U.S. army. running apps have compromised opsec of a surprising amount of facilities.
