Just spitballing…
If you were to train a model on just one book, as long as you don’t prompt it to create an exact copy (maybe just some indiscernible differences) then presumably that’s fair use.
Then, since we know AI generated work can’t be copyrighted, does that essentially create a copyright-free version of the text which can be freely distributed?


Presumably it’s only a matter of time before Google takes the ‘OS’ out of AOSP and tells all non-approved partners to go kick rocks.


Normally I’d be ‘that guy’ to call out ADHD vs NT behaviours but for this - particularly when hyperfocus is involved - there is 100% a difference.


I’d second this as something people don’t get about ADHD.
So I work in IT support. If I’m absorbed in something complicated and you ask me to stop immediately to help you with your “more urgent” issue, please don’t take it personally if I seem annoyed while my brain short circuits trying to deal with the sudden gear change.
