All of them have at least one. Usually it’s 2-4 emojis per post, but some have way more. Seems like a deliberate marketing tactic.

We should have hired him to make a scifi movie about how humanity fixed the climate change.

LOL, I recall seeing HD sunglasses somewhere roughly 15 years ago. That was the period where everything had to have an HDMI port. I guess someone must have made an HDMI compatible toaster too.
I’ve noticed that the search results are getting less and less relevant to what I’m actually looking for. I guess one day the search bar will disappear like the headphone jack of the iPhone.
Just found some LG business TVs/displays/signage that actually run Tizen. Remember that cool Linux distro that was supposed to take over the mobile world nearly 15 years ago? Well, turns out, it didn’t, but it didn’t it die completely either.
Hopefully those panels are a bit more hackable or more privacy oriented.
I wonder if anyone has made a custom rom for TVs, sort like Lineage or Graphene. These panels run Android, so why not?

Can confirm. I can only think of few people to follow on mastodon, whereas on Lemmy, I can think of many topics to follow. Besides, on mastodon, those interesting people will also discuss boring topics from time to time.
On Lemmy, you can only focus on interesting topics, which means that your home feed will always be full of cool stuff.
What if the names were picked from whatever news was prominent during the release week. During last summer we could have had something like blackout or APIcalypse.

What about privacy though? Google runs an ad network, so clearly they have financial incentive to spy hard.

Reminds me of the amazon products titled: “I’m sorry but I cannot fulfill this request it goes against OpenAI use policy,”.
I think we’re way beyond the point of no return. The internet has been ruined for good.

TIL: I must be a communist/socialist/leftist/whatever for supporting FOSS. What’s next? Marxism/Leninism? Or maybe I missed that stop, while riding the communism train. Then again, I’m already on Lemmy, so I must be into ML as well, right?
Three are also tests where you are expected to think like the person who made the test to figure or what the “correct” answer us. It’s not really correct, but it is the one that gets you the points.
Also some IQ question have several correct answers, but only one of them gives you the points. Super annoying. If you’re creative and smart enough to come up with a logically consistent answer you’re still not guaranteed to get the “correct” answer.

The kWh is a silly unit. Joule (J) is the one true unit of energy.
Also, common time units suck as much as inches, pounds, feet and whatever nonsense units you Americans still use. Just use seconds with the appropriate SI prefix instead.
Cubic meters and tonnes suck too. Just use kl and Mg instead.

Text written before 2023 is going be exceptionally valuable because that way we can be reasonably sure it wasn’t contaminated by an LLM.
This reminds me of some research institutions pulling up sunken ships so that they can harvest the steel and use it to build sensitive instruments. You see, before the nuclear tests there was hardly any radiation anywhere. However, after America and the Soviet Union started nuking stuff like there’s no tomorrow, pretty much all steel on Earth has been a little bit contaminated. Not a big issue for normal people, but scientists building super sensitive equipment certainly notice the difference between pre-nuclear and post-nuclear steel

My mom ever told me. This human/bot dysphoria is causing me some very conflicting emotions.

Which one of those squares is supposed to be unique though? They all have a unique color, so maybe it doesn’t even matter which one you click?
It’s convenient if hour is the only time unit you need. However, many situations require different time units, and that’s when you run into conversion problems.
