Convenient that party leadership holds no responsibility for choosing a candidate people actually want. Just vote for whatever “stay the course” or “nothing will fundamentally change” Democrat the party chooses and never ask for anything better because the party says actual progressives can’t win even though they haven’t seriously tried one in over a generation.

To the average, uneducated and heavily propagandized, American citizen there is very little difference between Democrats and Republicans. Each side calls the other fascist or communist or nazis so often the words have lost meaning. Each side is owned entirely by corporate interests (often the same corps) and often don’t even pay lip service to the working class.

It’s on party leadership to communicate a message that earns votes. They failed to do that in 2024. “Don’t vote for that guy” is not an effective way to say “vote for me” unless you actually present an attractive alternative. That’s going to require actually talking to people rather than at them and listening to their concerns.

Really sucks how Harris was such a shitty candidate that no one wanted to vote for her even when she was up against a man who openly stated he was going to do what he has been doing. I wonder if Democrats have learned anything from their mistakes.

A kid getting two-day out of school suspension is like a cop getting paid leave. If I were his parent there would be no punishment at home and probably a new game (or Fortnite skins or whatever) of his choice to enjoy on his suspension.
