I turned off that AI stuff as soon as I saw it. Click the gear icon in Notepad in the upper right to open settings and turn it off.

Did you make sure you have several GBs of free memory on the device while patching? At least until recently, ReVanced Manager would throw an error if it ran out of memory, and it actually needed (if I recall correctly) around 8 GB of free memory in order to finish the patching process or it’d throw one of several errors, depending on where in the process it ran out of memory.

Supposedly they’ve fixed this issue with the latest update to ReVanced Manager, which included a new patching process, but I haven’t had a chance to test it.

Edit: Also, did you use the default patch selections? While there are other patches available to select and deselect, using anything other than the default selections can sometimes make things a little unstable. I once ran into an issue with patching, and the solution was just… reset the patch selection to just use the default patches. And it suddenly worked.

Did you make sure to turn on the “GmsCore Support” patch? (I think it used to be called “MicroG Support”.) You have to enable that patch on unrooted devices in order for the app to work.

I’ve had the odd stability issue every now and then. (There was one ongoing issue with my wifi that was caused by a bug in my manufacturer’s driver, but that was years ago on Windows 10, and they eventually fixed it.) But I honestly haven’t had any issues caused specifically by Microsoft recently that I can recall.

Any problems caused by major features updates are usually solved by simply reinstalling the driver. (And I haven’t had any of those sorts of problems in at least a couple years.)

It’s worth noting that the saved pages are the only thing that are back for now. Their other services have not yet been brought back online.

Honestly, the only reason I remembered Prime Day last week was because an order I’d placed for something was scheduled to arrive then. (The only reason I ordered the thing from Amazon was because it was the only place to get it. I much prefer ordering from Best Buy and using their store pickup.)

In the US, you typically have to type in your debit/ credit card’s info (the 16-digit number, the 3-digit security code, the cardholder’s name, and the billing address on file with the bank) on a website in order to purchase something unless you’re using PayPal, Google Pay, or something similar to that that the website supports. If you’re using any of those, a pop-up usually opens asking for login info, then you select a card or bank account to use for the purchase.

Steam does actually tell you on the game’s page if the game requires a 3rd party account to play.

IIRC, they’ve said they’ll implement V3 to maintain compatibility, but they’ll also continue to maintain V2. You, the extension developer, will not be forced to use V3 if you don’t want to.

To add to this, often, even if you turn off Bluetooth, your devices can still communicate via Bluetooth Low Energy, something that’s separate from classic Bluetooth and typically (to my knowledge) cannot be turned off. As an example, I’ve heard that Google uses it to send ad targeting info between devices.
