25·1 month agoThere’s a mod to basically remove loading screens in Fallout 4. It “unlocks the framerate” when load screens are detected, and it functionally eliminates load screens. It’s fucking insane that that’s all the game actually needs. It’s lile Bethesda put a goddamn “wait” command in just to slow the game down.
They’re designed to “yes and…” everything, so yeah. Spirals happen quick, unfortunately.
It’s twitter. It’s based on fraud these days.

Digital Extremes was going to do something somewhat similar with their nemesis system in Warframe but had to scrap it because of that patent. So now we have the mediocre Lich/Sister/Boyband systems in place instead.

Right. The far bigger problem is how trash of an engine Unreal5 is, and all the forced processing making things look and run like shit. But that’s not just a Clair Obsur problem.
