Just had the same problem with my LucidSound LS45 … the headband is metal, I saw the recommendation to get them in one of those “buy it for life” threads so I did …
Turns out that the end caps of the headband are plastic and prone to breaking … I was able to save them by buying a non working “parts only” set on eBay and replacing the parts
This thing has been with me for 8 years and counting … they’ve been along for 3 motherboards, 2 cars and 6 girlfriends LOL
The US doesn’t leave personel exposed without anti air. Most bases have Patriot, THAAD and or CIWIS, at the very least an air raid alarm and bunkers.

The latitude product nomenclature is still standard
So for example the Latitude 9460 is the very high end laptop that came out at the beginning of this year while the 3540 was the entry level economy latitude that came out in 2023

Those are enterprise fleet laptops … the ones they have to support for 5-10 years.
You know which line they don’t discontinue parts for? You know which line has repair manuals and driver updates available? wanna take a wild guess which line is usually more modular and powerful at the expense of being less sleek looking and thin?
And the best part is that you can usually buy them fairly cheap if you find them used.
I prefer Dell Latitude to HP Elitebook, Thinkpads are OK too but they’ve gone down in quality a lot since they got bought by Lenovo
TL;DR = Buy an enterprise level laptop, consumer line laptops are all trash,
weight management is all about habits … start finding small ways to create healthier habits and grow slowly …
Sometimes there is a psychological factor. I was overweight most of my life and I always felt a constant need to satiate. When I was diagnosed with ADHD and started taking medication that hunger went away.
Try things like volume eating, fiber pills, drinking more water … small things add up over time but you have to be consistent.
Exercise helps but diet on it’s own can get you there too. CACO is the law (Calories in, calories out)
