This is awesome! I’ve only ever used ModPlug Tracker and now ReNoise. I need to give Furnace a shot as well.

Octopath Traveler II OST by Yasunori Nishiki.
I’m not sure if you were looking only for bands or music with lyrics, but this is probably my favorite video game soundtrack of all time.
Samples:
I used to attend church with a small following (50-60 members). The pastor seemed very kind at the time and still does some charitable things… But when my grandfather was dying in the hospital, he suggested that suffering brings you closer to God and any kind of hospice or pain-relief was a sin.
The next Sunday I attended, the pastor starting mocking the medical staff during a sermon, basically airing my family business and likened my family to Judas. I walked out and never came back.
Some of my family still attends his church. I saw the pastor a few years ago and extended my hand for a handshake and he walked away.
My mom and I talk about this whole situation sometimes (she attends a different church). “If you hear something at church you don’t agree with, don’t bring it home with you.” That was her way of saying that the pastor is just a person, too. Take what you can from a lesson and apply it for good in your life.

I’m currently working with a team of a few seniors and the rest mid-levels. I’ve helped get a few juniors hired but they’ve buckled under the pressure after 6 months.
They studied development at school and did great with their classwork but perhaps they thought they knew a lot and ended up realizing that they barely scratched the surface.
Though not required to learn deeper aspects of development, having a team, partner or mentor goes a heck of a long way. It’s like learning the piano. You can hit all the right notes but it doesn’t mean you have musicality.

I agree that it’s impossible not to affect others. Every action has a reaction which I hope sparks something positive from my end at least.
To give some perspective, I received my kidney transplant at 37 shortly after starting dialysis at 36 due to something out of my control. My wife almost passed from stage 3 breast cancer in 2017. I admit I’m biased and don’t want to see others suffer from preventable diseases but do understand that everything has an inherent risk, including vaccines (present though smaller), and it’s up to the player to play their hand as they see fit.

I said as well so I mean you both.

And that’s a weird way to react as well, telling people to touch grass.

A genuine question: What about people who don’t get vaccinated and can potentially spread their diseases? Does that not affect others just like choosing the risk of getting vaccinated?

Spotify on Tuesday said it anticipates reaching profitability for the full year in 2024, which would mark the company’s first full profitable year since it launched 18 years ago.

I listen to TechStuff to fall asleep!

My headphones. I just love listening to music way too much.

“Are you pondering what I’m pondering?”
“Uh, I think so Brain, but this time, you wear the tutu.”

I don’t even need a hacker for this. I have been getting someone’s violations for the last 3 months despite the offending car having a totally different plate, model, make and color. They still insist it’s my fault somehow.
And this feeling is why I started picking up music again after I stopped playing/recording for nearly 12 years. I’ve worked too hard and focused so much on being successful when I’ve forgotten what makes me truly happy.

I used to not want to make my bed because I was going to sleep in it again and get it messy anyway.
My dad started telling me to not wipe my ass because I’m going to shit again anyway.

And that’s $7/month for fewer, better ads.

Lately for me it’s been the Octopath Traveler II soundtrack. Whenever I feel stressed out I just listen to the character themes and it totally transports me to another place.

Great points! Personally for me I can do with less gorey violence. What I’m most interested in is good action sequences.
Can you suggest movie you like in this subgenre?
