If you prefer we could make it one wide panel

I’m sorry, the what gene?
Can someone fill me in on why this is funny

For torrenting purposes only, vpn doesn’t really matter as long it properly hides your ip (even the overpriced ones that don’t actually respect privacy)
Proton is still a good recommendation as long as you pay for premium, but I’ve started using airvpn since the proton ceo started getting weird. Mullvad is also good, but doesn’t allow port forwarding, which isn’t the end of the world but could have some negative effects (at least one person needs a forwarded port for you to connect to each other, and if you’re not forwarding yours, you’re relying on other people to forward theirs)
Tldr: proton is good, just pay for it. Airvpn and mullvad are also good

Wow I wish I had this a year ago. One thing though: a proton free account should not be used for torrenting as they don’t allow p2p connections. If you’re going to torrent, pay for your vpn

I’m pretty sure your supposed to set up W10 first (press “I don’t have a product key”) and then run the script after it puts you in

Why not

I mean, just because op make the original meme doesn’t mean they don’t have a 20 year old email full of spam (I also have one)

I host at home so unfortunately can’t give you any advice on a vps
If you’re torrenting, yes I would recommend a VPN. If you’re setting up docker containers, gluetun is what you want to use. It’s a client you can use to connect to most major VPN providers
You don’t need to open your server to the internet for you or your partner to remotely access it. You can use tailscale (or manually setup wireguard) to remotely access it without exposing anything. Alternatively, if you still want to open it, you can use fail2ban. I don’t know enough about networking to tell you exactly how secure it makes you, but assuming you’re a normal guy who isn’t pissing off any major corporations/states/etc it’s probably fine
I haven’t clicked on any of the links you provided, but I assume they mention the *arr stack. Some other goodies that may not have been mentioned though are jellyseerr, which has a nice frontend to search and request movies and TV, and homarr, which is a dashboard you can setup to sync with your other hosted apps. I have a couple extra I could tell you if you want, but I think these are the most important for a basic “official feeling” setup

On howdy’s own page it says that a well printed photo or someone who looks like you would be enough to fool it. Idk how secure Windows Hello is, but howdy is designed for convenience over security

If anyone uses jellyfin you can also use jellyseerr, it’s just a fork of overseerr designed to work with jellyfin

This sub has a megathread that has a list of trusted sites for general use and specific categories. It also has sites for direct download if you prefer it

Ah fuck, I’ve forgotten how to do basic math

The grass is always greener I guess
But I thought the joke was to say something that isn’t true???

I don’t care what people have to say about apple
More speed is more heat is more battery wear
Why is making it an option with the default set to off worse than what they have now (slow charging with no option)?
I don’t disqualify any of these things from being ai, my point is that if someone hears the word ai without any other context, they’re probably going to think of an llm
