Idk about the usability of stremio because I’ve never used it, but I type my music into one search box, 99% of the time click the first or second result in the result list, and about 10 seconds later it’s in my music folder. I really don’t know what I would improve there.

Absolutely agree. It’s still wrong that it’s associated with the mission, and it’s not “absolutely bonkers” to not really think about the personal email client you use.

Understandable :) I guess the closest would be to read/listen to experiences of other people feeling/experiencing the same thing as you, which certainly do exist.

I personally feel like it can’t be done in a healthy way. It’ll probably be manageable, but I personally think humans are so social that “healthy” is only possible if one is able to share their experience.

I only watch stuff that’s done. I hate neverending stuff like the millionth episode of One Piece or such shit. I don’t like waiting on new episodes to arrive.

So when I watch something, I download it, and watch it. If I don’t remember in my mind where I’m at exactly, I just open an episode and see if I recognize it. If I don’t, I go back in the series, if I do, I go forward, until I’m at the episode that I haven’t watched yet.

Most of the time, I just know where I’m at. If I don’t, it takes like 30 sec max to find the place I’m in, less than the time it would take to enter my “watched” status on any service, and I only have to do that rarely.

I can’t really think of any cons or why I would use anything else. All those services are just wasted time/effort to me.

I would guess because simply historically, we always were very private people. This was generally increased with the experiences during the second world war and after in East Germany, where there was widespread government spying and people spying on each other. Thus, we have lots of groups that are engaged with activism regarding privacy, and it’s present in the collective consciousness.

Reddit is an advertising shithole and Lemmy is the more private/free alternative, so it’s more likely more Germans come here.

Also in general, the internet lends itself for less social people, which I’d also characterize Germans to have a tendency for.

Did a week as a challenge/experience. I read up a bit beforehand and just made sure I got enough water and electrolytes. Was getting hungry during the first day and more during the second, but then it just kinda stopped. I felt tired and weak a bit but apart from that everything fine.

You can already secure boot if you want. But like always, you gotta set it up yourself in a complicated manner :D

But… You sit on it, with almost your whole weight? I’m sure a person like 30% heavier than me sitting is equal to me standing on the toilet.

I would say the dangerous part is that it’s not designed to be stood on, i.e. it’s slippery, uneven, not big enough, rather than the weight being the real problem.
