My smart tube app wasn’t working tonight so watched YouTube on the normal app. I can’t believe people live like this, it’s actually unwatchable.

So interesting to me that it’s the lower end phones that have the features I want
I think they mean lithium ion batteries are far worse for the environment compared to a headphone cable you could easily replace

Name a single country with no power outages

If they weren’t guzzling the worlds water supply, and using the electricity of a small nation, and didn’t steal small creators works, and weren’t hijacking the worlds supply of RAM, and wasn’t causing a bubble that will wreak havoc on the global economy, and it wasn’t causing people to go into psychosis by encouraging delusional thoughts, than i probably wouldn’t be against it.
Other than those issues it seems fine, but until those are addressed, I’m pretty anti-ai

Trick question. The answer is none of them

Not individual songs, but Kraftwerk and Rammstein come to mind.
Alien weaponry have a track called Kai Tengata that includes Maori vocals
Although I listen to quite a lot of music from countries where English is not the native language, most bands just sing in English anyway

Yes you’re 100% right. Solid wood will warp and split, I did mean MDF and should have said as such

Speakers are made of wood, the good ones are at least.
Unless your referring to the actual drivers, then yeah wood wouldn’t really work in that case.

Still absolutely blows my mind people willingly install these

I came to the same conclusion., I need a “Spotify connect” type feature, and when I looked, tidal had just axed their equivalent.
Until a competitor allows me to play music on a headless Linux box and control it with my phone, I’m stuck with Spotify

So glad the idiotic decisions Microsoft makes doesn’t effect my computer. And I’m excited for the rest of the population to make the shift to Linux, at least on their personal computers.
It doesn’t have to be like this, you too can be immune

Have you tried using yabridge? https://github.com/robbert-vdh/yabridge#configuration
It’s not perfect, some plugins still have issues. But most of the time it works really well. I use this with reaper and find music production is totally doable in Linux

Vueve Clicquot champagne and a Spanish truffle cheddar

Some drugs you should absolutely not be getting drunk with. Do your research to ensure it’s safe. Other drugs I kinda just wouldn’t bother. I’d say either get high or get drunk, both seems like overkill. I’d pick getting high so you don’t feel like shit the next day but you do you.
Take it slow, keep hydrated, have food and snacks available. Don’t do shots, don’t try and rush it

Or even better, just run Linux and avoid Microsoft entirely
If you like this, Benn Jordan has a ton of incredibly good videos

A half-decent soldering iron is way better than a super cheap soldering iron.
Plan the build as much as you can, and then order all the parts at once. This way you’re not tied up waiting for parts to ship which kills momentum.
Wires take up more space in an enclosure than you think.
If you can order 3 of something for not much more money than 1. Do it. It’ll allow you to build up stock of things you use. That way when you get an idea, you’ll have parts on hand.
Allow yourself to fail. Some ideas sound good but aren’t. It’s ok to abandon a project.
Lean on the community. If you have an idea for a project, someone’s probably done it before. Look it up, see how they did it, learn from their mistakes. You can stand on the shoulders of giants and you absolutely should.
Not to discourage you but that is a super ambitious first project. If you want a good audio player but don’t want to spend a ton, I have the fiio snowsky echo. It’s super affordable, but surprisingly powerful. It drives my 250 ohm headphones without issue. No way you’re DIY’ing anything that good for its price. However if you want to DIY a music player just because you want to, absolutely go for it!

Several times, but there was a limit to how much I felt comfortable charging someone for 3d printed plastic
It’s great. I’m pretty sure you can sign in so you get your algorithm and subscriptions. But it’s an incredible app. Infinitely better than the normal YouTube app.
