About 20 years ago when I was heavy into Christianity I donated everything I had and then some (well into debt…) thinking that I would somehow be rewarded by god.

Well, guess what, nothing.

Mentors and pastors said I needed to pray more and read the Bible more and seek guidance more. I peaked at attending church three times a week and bible studies 1-2 times a week.

Still nothing.

Long story short, fuck religion, I left and never looked back. I’m 1000% happier, less depressed, and continue to be reasonably generous.

I sold my Plaid and canceled my CT. Fuck Elon.

People here don’t believe in real protest. They think peaceful protest makes a difference, it doesn’t. They think waiting until elections and voting makes a difference, it (mostly) doesn’t.

Until enough people realize aggression and possibly violence is the answer, nothing will change and they’ll sit around with their thumb up their ass wondering why.

As an American, I can’t wait for the lessons learned and the death to American Exceptionalism. I look forward to reaping everything we’ve sowed due to our shitty actions (or complete lack of action).

But also as an American I am bitter and don’t believe for a second that the 60-70% of people here that need to learn a lesson, will actually learn a lesson. I no longer believe things will change for the better within my lifetime. It sucks.

If unidentified, masked agents show up on my property in an aggressive manner, I am absolutely opening fire and burying their bodies in the acreage of forests out back.

It won’t end well for me, but we outnumber them. If even every 100th person took out at least one of them, they’d cease to exist pretty quickly.

There would be other ramifications, but we’re getting there no matter what anyway.

And that’s an “at best” scenario assuming America even turns things around, which I am seriously beginning to doubt.

I wish blue states would figure out a way to stop paying federal taxes / halt in-state employers from taking them out of paychecks.
