Honestly, i think their (openAI) rationale is that they paid these developers 500k$/yr or whatever… so in their minds, they set these devs up for lifetime success… therefore they have no obligation to keep them employed for long term

So i fed the patch email into google gemini pro, and it spotted the same bug as linus

how do these people become billionaires in the first place? wage theft, environmental destruction, corporate welfare, low corporate tax and loopholes, bailouts, poor worker protections and benefits, etc…fight these problems and legislate benefits for workers in the first place instead of trying to take the money back after the fact…

as much as i love taxing billionaires and seizing wealth, i think getting to the root of the problem is better optics and maybe more palatable to people
