    Best line:

“George [Lucas] wanted, pardon the expression, a darker voice, so he hires a guy born in Mississippi, raised in Michigan, who stutters. That’s the voice, that’s me. I lucked out. From all these so-called handicaps, I lucked out to get a job that paid me $7,000, and I thought that was good money.”

Good voice, good man. RIP sir.

One of the greatest voices ever. Shear power in that deep booming voice.

“Take the Princess and the Wookie to my ship.”

I guess James Earl Jones, Carrie Fisher, and Peter Mayhew can now all ride together.

I looked him up like 3 hours ago to see if he was still alive.

    I feel like I manifested his death…

I know it’s cool to hate on The Big Bang Theory, but i loved his cameos on that show. He made fun of himself, and to a certain extent, the fandom, but the tone was so silly and self-aware, i loved it.

    RIP

I figured he didn’t have to do it if he didn’t want to and he acted like he was having fun, which made me enjoy those scenes so much more. ‘You know what? I like Star Wars’…mean unsure if he did but he said with such a grin and awesome delivery. Plus ding dong ditch on Carrie was the cherry on top.

To make this all about me, me, me: Another part of my childhood is now gone. But I have to say, 93 years of living a good life is something to aspire to! I can only hope I live that long or live half as amazing a life. I can also only hope to have that deep of a voice. DOES IT HELP IF I TYPE IN ALL CAPS TO DEMONSTRATE?
