The Founding Fathers saw statues of the King pulled down and British flags burned. They knew all about destroying symbols and didn’t put anything about it in the Constitution for a reason.

The argument I’ve heard is that The Founding Fathers could have never had any idea that people today would be so terrible.
The Founding Fathers saw statues of the King pulled down and British flags burned.
