Maybe I misread the article, but it seems they assisted gates with getting in touch with women to have an affair with. It has been said before he had affairs with Russian prostitutes so I imagine that’s what this is vs with children. Even Epstein would prefer to blackmail him with being a pedo, I bet he was happy enough to get such a powerful person blackmailed with anything.
Another reason I believe it wasn’t pedophilia that gates was involved in is because he’d be lying to Congress about this, a felony. If they have evidence of gates lying, he’d still be known as a pedo, and ending up a criminal as well.

That being said I’d also say… for Epstein to do blackmail using the underaged women seems… more complicated. IE how do you blackmail someone for a crime that you were also a part of. How do you follow through on that blackmail without also collapsing the rest of the operation.
