Wait you mean this hasn’t been obvious to everyone for decades?
Europeans are a willing partner in American imperialism. When their imperial empires crumbled they lined up to be American imperialism beneficiaries and in the case of France, they’ve never stopped being a major imperial power it’s just decade after decade post-WW2 their coercive power have receded to shorter distances around the world. Europeans are most in denial over their own imperialism
I’m from Spain, the first which showed the middle finger to the US
Also the first to show the middle finger to the Americas =P
The first which declared Palestina an independent State and Netanyahu an genocide criminal, Netanyahu cannot set foot on Spanish territory, because there is an arrest warrant against him.
The first saying to Trump that they are not willing to pay 5% in defense, buying US weapons, because social services, education and health care are more important
The first declaring the Iran War illegal, closing the US bases in Spain and the use of US military flights in its territory (also for Weapons to Israel)
Only after this, some other EU countries began to follow this policy, only Germany is still resilent.
Trump hates Spain, even threatening to expel Spain from NATO (which he can’t) and with high taxes (which he also can’t, and also with Spain’s little dependence on US products it is way more harmful to the US than to Spain). As said, a good middle finger.
Spains been pretty good this last decade I’ll give ya that
US Latines are the worst lol. They’ll discriminate against Latin Americans and then brag about getting paid more while being subservient to white people. They’re professional bootlickers
People who are being exploited are always highly targeted for propaganda and manipulation, explicitly because they have the most revolutionary potential and their position in society makes them more vulnerable to the sales pitch that maybe they can be allowed a seat at the table, even if its a second class one. Uncle tom is a term that’s been around for ages for a reason
Its good to remember our compassion for folks who are being exploited. No one is immune to propaganda, ESPECIALLY those who come from classes where access to higher education is less common
