    Most spoke on the condition of anonymity, for fear of losing their job or being subjected to a polygraph exam.

    Why? Why is holding on to this job important if everything about it sucks? Management, moral, targets, inhumane methods, feeling forced to hide your identity, being dispiced by the public, etc. etc. Noting positive mentioned in the article. Why not quit? You’re not the pope, it’s not a job for life!

      Where else can they inflict violence on others professionally, though?

      I mean … find your passion and you’ll never work a day in your life?

      Why is holding on to this job important if everything about it sucks?

      Seems like this comment could be asked of basically any post on Lemmy that even tangentially references politics, economics, or tech.
