I have issues with the idea of assisted suicide. Killing oneself should be ur right but if u dont have the strength to do it urself then u dont deserve it.

Wait until you have parents or other elderly loved ones that are slowly rotting and wasting away in front of you, unable to do anything to end their own suffering due to being severely incapacitated and then come back with that incredibly short-sighted belief. We give more compassion to the end-of-life of our pets than our elderly.

didnt humans become dominant by our ability to form cohesive groups through social bonds?

Why are you mad that I’m agreeing with you? I’m in favor of the right to choose your own death. I was adding that our ability to form cohesive groups and socially bond was itself an evolutionarily selected for trait seeing as how it’s been a main factor in our species’ ability to survive and thrive.

Apply your logic to the concept of eating. It should be your right, but if you don’t have the strength to do it yourself then you don’t deserve it. Right?

Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.

7. No duplicate posts.

If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.

8. Misinformation is prohibited.

Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
