Shanghai?
Coca Cola, Wonderbra!

I love that movie but it’s the first time I’m hearing it being referred to as a Christmas movie. Iirc there isn’t even any Christmas celebration in it?
Quake 3 has entered the chat

It wasn’t criticism aimed at you btw, just that it doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence in an email provider to hear that they are likely to suspend accounts

Eventually
Not something the average person wants to hear when it comes to creating a personal email account

You might be underthinking it. With hardlinks the media management software looks in the media folder for the music files, while the downloading software looks in the downloads folder to avoid downloading duplicates. The files are stored only once but both softwares are happy.

Thanks for mentioning what you did about “legitimate interest” - at least now it’s clear you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’d suggest reading up on it, looking at cookie banners on GDPR-compliant websites, and talking to privacy lawyers or people that regularly work in this space as a starting point. Have a good day!

I can’t tell if you’re deliberately trolling or not but here you go:
Data minimization is a key principle of the GDPR. It requires organizations to collect and process only the personal data that is necessary for their specified purposes. It explicitly addresses data minimization in Article 5(1)© GDPR, which states that personal data shall be: “adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed (‘data minimization’).”

You are right, and this adds to my point.
Adding on, I don’t think I’ve turned off my MacBook in years. The only time I remember turning off a MacBook was when I put it away in storage for a while.
