My favorite part of linux news is that you get a headline like this and to 99.5% of the population it sounds like word salad but at the same time there’s at least 15 dudes who are going to be totally stoked by this.

Not only is it normal, but as some other posters have mentioned, it is a good habit to be in. This may be a hot take but people should also look at their toilet paper after wiping and at their poop before flushing.

If I had my way every domicile in human history would have one of these and a pair of decks.

It’s so crazy how this show is basically the exact same shit the exact same type of guy would have done 10, 20, 30 years ago with the exact same jokes. The only difference is the post-covid brainworms and the context of the transphobia being presented as a losing ideology. Kinda mindblowing that this dude is a couple years from AARP eligibility and still talking like he’s in middle school. That sucks.

As much as I want TiK ToK by Kesha to be a recognizable tune in half a millenia I know that’s not happening. Personal Jesus by Depeche Mode is one of the most covered songs of the past 50 years so that very well may become immortalized through diffusion alone. There’s a couple dozen jazz standards that could have that kind of staying power as well, especially considering their ubiquity in performance repitoires and books of sheet music.
