Democracy should be easy, and its fucken impossible to even find information on local election candidates in your area when the time comes. Like how am I supposed to know the details about every candidate running for mayor in my city when theres millions of people, searching their info online doesnt bring anything up, and the pamphlets kind of read more like propaganda fliers than statements and info on the candidates. The entire fucken things needs to be reworked.

I would say I see the most anti-anarchist rhetoric coming from .ML, but specific users at that. Now campism is bad, but considering the situation in my immediate area (the US) I am down for extreme unity of all left types (libs aren’t the left). I chill with the bears all day and nobody says that. You seem to be extremely reactionary to that ideology and I think you should step back and look at how polarized you are. It can’t be a healthy mindset. I mean you immediately responded like this and downvoted me for saying something pretty benign from a software development angle.

The admins should have a choice in the banner, but each Lemmy instance is also using that software for free and should, in the spirit of Floss, give back. Thats really all I’ll say about that because I’m not an admin nor am I a dev for either software.

Its working guys. The decentralization is working. I for one think its amazing that we’ve created these little social medias to fight like Pokémon and nobody can stop us.

This is going to sound crazy but, we don’t. We create a global standard for education that all of humanity maintains for the betterment of the next generation and the MAGAs will naturally vanish.

It would be up to the community. If anything anarchism is the only form of government that is resistant to bad actors “taking it over” because it would just result in what is essentially a village cult while the sane communities cut ties with them. There cannot be a permanent council or alliance of communities that govern their spheres of influence or else you aren’t really practicing anarchism as you’ve just built an unnecessary hierarchy.

Edit: but to clarify, the community would ultimately choose how to deal with these members. Whatever method, good or bad, that may be.
