I don’t doubt double or triple but you have a source on that?

Oh good. I’ve been working on a setting for some-odd 16 years now. One of the earliest concepts in it is how the galaxy is run by an AI that subtly alters interstellar communications to influence things at scale without being discovered. Love that one of my existential fears of the future gets a shot at playing out irl

Is this even a setback, am I missing something? Tarrifs -> companies raise prices -> tarrif refund -> companies keep prices. Citizens pay once to the tarrif, once in taxpayer money going to refunds, and forever more to raised prices. Companies get all that money instead which is exactly what trump and friends want. I haven’t been following too closely so someone let me know if my understanding is wrong?

During the height of blm in Seattle my complex had protests and various gasses going by it. Some of the tenants tried to get rent reduced or have leases cut early. Our landlords raised the rent the legal max, about 10%

The day trump got elected I wanted to invest in gold. Was going through divorce stuff and finances have been in a wild state since so never got to it. I don’t have regrets on it but could have been nice if I was able to dump a chunk in when I wanted to

YappyMonotheist what the fuck are you talking about?

I moved to Sweden a bit ago and basically speed ran dumping my usd into euros and sek. I’m keeping some behind to help fund people escaping, it’s not much but if I can even help one person it’s worth it. I pulled the plug on retirement too because I also plan on never going back and I want to be as far from US markets as physically possible

I have to use Windows 11 for my school computer, not allowed to change the OS. I didn’t realize how shit awful explorer had gotten between 10 and 11. For anyone reading this who has to use 11: there are explorer alternatives. I use OneCommander and it let me change the default explorer for shortcuts and when other programs bring things up like with “show in folder” options. I don’t have to use windows explorer anymore and while it’s no Linux at least it doesn’t have fucking copilot and it gives me back basic control

Breaking laws isn’t exactly a problem for him

I’m from the US and I’m disgusted and embarrassed with the place. I moved to Sweden recently and if it comes to it I’d sooner help protect your borders than go back to the US

I got GalliumOS onto an old chromebook last year. It was a bit of a fight and there are a couple parts if you mess up it’s possible to brick it entirely. Gallium was specifically for chromebooks, it’s been discontinued last I knew, and getting a different os in there sounds even more painful to me… But yeah you can cram Linux into one!

How do you mean? Talk seemed fine to me am I missing something?

Isn’t that triple? It’s saying 90k more not total

It’s been hitting -20c where I’m at currently. I love it, I’m so happy I moved here, idk what it is about the cold but it makes me happy and bundling up to go outside is fun

Maybe no trafficking any individuals

So I’m trans and would regularly get searched by TSA. Flying out of Seattle though TSA would often clock me and split the line to go through the metal detector instead of the scanner which was way less likely to trigger a pat down. I suspect having trans people as TSA agents will help other trans people while traveling. That said it’s not like they’re going to take it down from the inside or something and I still think this person is a bit of an idiot. I want TSA to disappear but if it is to exist then I hope it’s forced to allow trans people

The kindest most caring person I know works in a toy store. Second most is a phlebotomist

Unless I’m missing something about how to use it the text tool in Krita is terrible though. Been designing cards with people the last few weeks and we ended up making the general design and layout in Krita then brought things into GIMP to add text
Anyone know why these districts had specific agreements in the first place? I’m having trouble finding that info. Shouldn’t the government have been trying to enforce Title IX with all school districts? (I know that’s not the case they were but I’m curious why these districts seem to have been special cases)
