I have never run into any, but I’d have to assume there are just based off of the fact that anyone can host an instance.

Pah! They don’t have the most famous dyslaxative person out there: Cliccy Wiccy himself! TheClick!

Jokes aside, always interesting to learn about famous people like this.
I was probably in middle school when I had my first contact with Starship Troopers and that messed with me. My first exposure was the scene of them defending the base on that big filled planet. As someone who doesn’t get along with bugs, you can see why I originally hated the film.
There’s a specific episode of that, IMO, horrible 3D Garfield and Friends cartoon from maybe the very late 2000s or early 2010s that made me hate the show. As someone who hates spiders, I hated an episode where Garfield takes an alien’s space car to an alternate universe where it’s John’s head on a giant spider body.
Hated it so much I couldn’t even eat something like a hot pocket without worrying about the fuckers being in it.
Edit:
That episode basically killed my enjoyment of the 3D animated Garfield movies with the superheroes, Garfield going on a quest to become funny again, and having to find a way back into comic strip land ( or whatever it’s called ). I’d probably be fine watching them now, but no way I’d enjoy them like I did, not by a long shot. Even as an animation lover.

Hello there

Maybe more of an online/fandom type of nobody rather than IRL, but I LOVE Sonic The Hedgehog ( Sonic '06 ) so much despite all the glitches because I think the glitches add so much to the game. Cannot convince me that bug riddled mess isn’t a very beautiful sight to behold.

The troop I was in was like that as well, minus the uniforms. Almost always had to have on either a uniform or troop shirt at outings so we could be identified in case something went wrong. Closest we had to church related stuff was how our troop was grateful enough to be able to hold meetings in a nearby church, a quick mention of it in Eagle Scout court of honor ceremony, and the occasional camp out “there’s service happening for anybody who wants to attend” type of thing.
As for funding, we definitely had the usual fall popcorn sales and then we usually did a bake sale early Spring for funding. Hated the bake sale because it was always at a small rest stop shop that was almost always cold. No external support outside of whoever popcorn sales were done through.

I definitely learned some pretty good skills in it, so I would personally recommend, though biased.
Learned first aid, fire starting, safe wood chopping, some decent enough regional wilderness survival skills, and had a good amount of fun along the way. Also learned gun safety in a very important meeting we had that probably should have been either an every year meeting.

Almost made Eagle Scout here. Would absolutely encourage people to join*. There is almost no other organization where you can learn cooking, first aid, environmental science, and many other cool and useful skills that I can think of. At least not for teens. There are definitely a good amount of things I learned that I have kept with me, even if I have never had to use them, especially a very important meeting we had on gun safety.
*obviously vet the troop. You absolutely don’t want to join a troop with homophobes if you or your child are not straight or are trans or whatever.

With enough money, I guarantee anybody could have their copyright stolen from right under their noses.

Good to know.

I can’t speak for the whole of my country due to it being the US, but in my city, I don’t know a single place that does takoyaki or hot pot in general.
With hot pot I can see why it wouldn’t be feasible because a parent sues over not watching their kid drop their electronics into the hot oil, but takoyaki wouldn’t be a big deal! I need more takoyaki!

Since it’s genAI, it’s one of the very few things I will 100% agree on any Hollywood groups on when it comes to business.
I just hope the rest of the big players don’t go down the Dosney route and lose any humanity they have left by using genAI.
Linus would be too busy chewing Epstein out in a mailing list and then banning him from it permanently if they were friends.

As much as I dislike the lack of OOTB customization with cinnamon, I have not had any problems with Linux Mint. It is Ubuntu based but it’s one of those distros that slowly adopts new things ( Wayland still experimental ) to ensure they can make it functional, but things eventually flow to it.
I was gonna say something about MX, but I realized I only have experience with the version with Plasma. I’m sure the other editions are good too, but don’t take my word on it.

Irony must not be their strong suite.
Usually a 2 since I never really talk about it outside of here.
I think the only times I’ve talked about it with others is venting about my problems or what I’m trying to accomplish to my mom or when my dad switched to dual booting Mint on his laptop that thankfully doesn’t support win11.
I’m usually not big on being a consistent fandom interactor type of person in general, so yeah.

Well, this is more of an I should probably learn how to thing, but even with all the customizations I’ve made to Cinnamon, I’d love to be able to do more customizations.
I cannot switch off Cinnamon on my desktop since I’m technically running tech support for my dad, also running Mint w/Cinnamon. Would if I could.

I’m autistic, so you ain’t that far off from me being a robot.
Probably one of the best use cases I’ve seen for machine learning ( not the other LLM mega junk ) has been a recent game used it to allow the PVP/E CPU enemies to adjust to the map terrain.
There are probably much better uses for machine learning, but I haven’t personally seen them AFAIK nor can I think of any others since my brain is falling asleep and I’m struggling to stay awake right now.
