Does his name represent the 5th month of the year or the white egg based food topping?

I have been thinking of him as “the mayonnaise” personally.

I wanna say it’s from the Latin word “Maius” which is the month of May. In Mexican Spanish, “mayonesa” is never shortened to mayo.

So I’ve been celebrating these five jars of mayo all wrong this whole time?

Don’t let them tell you how to live your life. In fact, open six jars next time!

Celebrating mayo is never wrong, bud. In fact, you should get more mayo at your earliest convenience.
