With Unihertz doubling down on their titan line of phones with physical keyboards, and the Clicks Communicator release growing closer every day, it feels like there will soon be some mainstream availability for handheld CyberDeck-like devices.

My dream device in this category would be something like the LG Wing (RIP LG’s mobile division) but with an excellent touch-sensitive physical keyboard rather than a secondary display.

With the square aspect ratio of the secondary display, I’d be thrilled if they threw in a small D-Pad or low-profile joystick a la PSP and some version of A-B-X-Y buttons to also pitch it as a capable gaming device. The landscape display would be fantastic for relatively modern titles, mobile games, and game streaming from a gaming PC, not to mention just general computing and mobile tasks.
