How is the institutional knowledge dying if they are keeping the employees?
This is nothing compared to the 10,000 PhD candidates we lost after the NIH funding freeze.

A lot will move on instead of moving to Utah.
I just think calling the relocation of 2/3 of what ultimately is a western focused department the “death of institutional knowledge” a bit hyperbolic.
That’s the first service to be officially removed. We will see what happens to the rest.
